We do not do cash refunds. We can only do store credit if livestock dies within 24 hours of purchase. In the event that a fish dies within 24 hours of purchase, We require a water sample from the tank the fish died in so that we can test the quality of your water. If the fish died due to problems with your water, we will not give full credit. If a water test comes back good and no problems are found, we will replace the animal with a new one, or give a credit of the same amount as the livestock that died. All sales are final. Speak to store owner or manager on duty about exchanges. Store credit does not apply to dry goods.
If a customer is made aware that a fish came into the store in the last three days (before the full quarantine time is up), and the customer purchases the fish anyway, we are not held responsible for that fish in the event that it does not live.
If a fish is purchased the week of a new shipment, we will hold the fish in quarantine for up to 5 days after the day it was delivered. After the 5 day period, if the customer does not come to pick up the fish, we are no longer responsible for that fish in the event that it dies. The customer will be given the option to have it replaced with a new one. We will not hold fish for customers who have not paid. You must pay for the fish before we can hold it for you, otherwise it is available for anyone else to purchase.
There are risks involved with transporting live animals from tank to tank, especially salt water fish. Since we can not guarantee that a fish brought back to us will live after being transported back and forth, we only give partial or half credit. Any fish brought back to us will have to remain in quarantine for 5 days in our store before credit is given.
We quarantine all new fish for 5 days in medicated tanks. If you choose to buy a fish the day of a shipment or within the quarantine time, we can not guarantee it's survival, nor can we guarantee an exchange.
Trade-ins are acceptable as long as livestock is in good condition. All live stock brought in for trade in must be quarantined in our store for 5 days before credit is given to ensure the livestock survives.
Situations may vary, speak to store owner or Manager on duty about trade ins BEFORE bringing in livestock.
Trade-ins brought into the store without prior notice to the store will be turned away. We need notice in advance to prepare for taking in new livestock. We do not give cash in exchange for trade-ins. Store credit or livestock of equal value only. Trade-ins are not guaranteed. We have the right to decline the offer for trade-ins.
